This project is a trestle desk made from solid walnut. The top is claro walnut that was harvested in the 19th Century. The wide plank top has been siting in various barns for the past 200 years... I thought that was pretty rad!
The desk will be made with a combination of hand tools, power tools and machines.
Here are the two 12/4 walnut boards that will become the trestle base.
